Good value hotel with lovely views over the city. Attentive and efficient staff. Excellent location close to downtown, bars, cafes, and the town's surroundings. Close to boats for a cruise up the Rhine and for a gondola ride to the monument.

The units are brand-new, silent. It has excellent, marvellous setting, close to mountain as well as river, shops and restaurants. The personnel is very pleasant!

Booked a comfort room with a safe box, central heating, and a coffee/tea maker. The location was good yet it was a few steps away from downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot.

We were very impressed with the classic double room and the marvelous location on a quieter street with easy access to the Christmas market and a regular market, as well as the nice service and on-site parking.

Nice cosy hotel, spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed, free wifi, friendly owners, easy after hours check-in. We liked the idea of having your own permanent table for breakfast, created a very home-like and quiet atmosphere. Location of the hotel was excellent.

The rooms here are super clean and quiet, and they have AC. 🌬️ Great location in a peaceful area, plus a delicious and generous hot breakfast. And it's so convenient being close to restaurants, shopping, and the town center.

The Hotel Zum Baren was in a quiet safe feeling location, not far from rail and boat transportation. It was a good solid choice for our time on the Rhine.

The location of Hotel Zum Baren is fantastic, right next to central shopping areas, bars, cafes, and the famous Drosselgasse. the staff members at the hotel were all very friendly and incredibly nice.

Located just on the border of the old town. Close to everything you'd want to see in Rüdesheim.

We booked the Hotel has we had been to Rudesheim on a day trip and wanted to go back for longer.The hotel was in a good position about 7 mins walk from the river far enough away from the busy rail track so has not to here it.The staff were very friendly and spoke excellant english.The breakfast was very good,the room was smallish but very clean.There is parking at the hotel which is quite novel your car goes on a lift that goes up and down but only fits 6 cars so you need to book it.there is parking on the streets outside.We would recommend the Hotel its only a few minutes walk from the lively night life but far enough away to be quiet.

We were given a family room on arrival, it was silent. the bed was lovely; and there was a bath. the hotel was located peaceful for us, easy walk to the train station. There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was efficient.

Excellent value. Clean, quiet (given city location). Rooms are simple but more than adequate. Breakfast was wonderful. Make sure you reserve a parking space if traveling by car.

Old time feel with perfect location to city center. Close reasonable public parking fee.

Had issues with wi-fi internet connection.
